Review ... Out of SightThis was a good movie even though I didn't expect it to be. I don't really like George Clooney. But, l was impressed by the performance and both he and Jennifer Lopez really worked well together.
George Clooney is a repeat bank robber (actually repeatadly, over 200 robberies). The movie starts with him botching up a job and ending up in prison, where is obviously in pretty familiar surroundings. He uses his prison-savvy to arrange a well-thought out break-out which actually works. Except that a detective, Jennifer Lopez, is kidnapped in the process and their relationship begins.
There is a subtle humour there that is really welcomed and the settings were superbly chosen. It was good entertainment, especially for a movie that doesn't follow a standard mould to appeal to the masses.
